Playing Golf in Vacant Apartments

Avid golfers try to work on their game as often as possible. However, golf is an expensive game, as recurring costs include golf balls, tees, and course fees. When you play rounds of golf in empty apartments and houses, these extra costs are eliminated.

The premise of this game is to set up a course and play a couple of holes with a pitching wedge or short-distance iron. Common holes involve going from one room to another, although creativity makes the game more difficult.

Rules can stipulate that the ball must reach a certain corner or a closet. It can be a trick shot requiring a chip shot over a counter, a task that can be very difficult.

Much of this game is played while under the influence of alcohol, but it doesn't have to be. This can be a family activity as well. Check out keys to look at apartments and houses for rent and teach the kids some apartment golf etiquette. Some notable management companies to look for places are Pabst, Kinney & AssociatesEntourage Property Management, and Belmont Brokerage and Management.

An important thing to remember is not to break anything or illegally enter a premises. Just like in a public golf course, it is your responsibility to keep the course in top condition and leave it looking the way it was before you played through.
